The best part about teaching at Woods is getting to read, write, and talk with curious and engaged thinkers of all ages. I want a comfortable, positive, inclusive classroom where all voices share ideas, questions, and thoughts. I love exploring great books and burning questions with my students.
My classes, largely discussion-based and Socratic, emphasize cultural literacy, cultural context, and the relevance of the study of literature. We do lots of writing, talk about texts from various perspectives, and commit to personal responsibility.
