Grade 1 Curriculum

This is a general overview of our curriculum.  However, we also have much more which we manage to squeeze in somehow or the other!  Our literacy program is the backbone of first grade.

We begin the day with handwriting, spelling, reading/reading comprehension, vocabulary and phonics. Homework will be studying spelling words, reading and phonics, vocabulary or math.

We enjoy hearing from parents if there are any questions or concerns about the curriculum.
