My niche as an educator is rooted in my upbringing. I was raised along the shores of Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island. My connection to this unique ecology influenced my daily life and, along with some very inspiring educators, led me to my chosen profession. My first teaching experience was aboard a research vessel for Save The Bay. I carried the tradition of field experience to my classroom at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School in Massachusettes. I came to North Carolina eight years ago with my family and am currently enjoying forging new learning experiences at the middle school level. I look forward to building a strong and positive learning experience for my young and delightful students at Woods.
