Using Accommodations on AP Exams
Accommodations that are currently in your student's IEP or 504 plan are not automatically provided for on the AP exams. In order for your student to use these accommodations, parents must request prior approval from the College Board. The deadline to apply for accommodations for the AP Exams is February 17. If you have any questions or need assistance, contact Kathleen St. Lawrence, EC Director (919-960-8353 ext. 450 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
The ACT will be administered to first-time 11th grade students on February 28. Please mark your calendar now and consider this when scheduling any appointments or vacations to minimize disruptions to students and faculty.
If students have taken the SAT or ACT before to January 1, 2017, and have scores that meet the college readiness benchmark standards, they are not required to participate in the statewide ACT administration. However, it is the students' responsibility to notify the school that they do not wish to participate in the test administration. Requests must be submitted to Eve Barnes (email@example.com) no later than January 10, 2017.
PSAT/NMSQT Score Results
On December 12, students who provided their email address on their PSAT/NMSQT answer sheet will receive an email reminder from College Board explaining where and how to view their scores. Students can set up a free College Board account at any time. Paper score reports will be available in mid-December.
